Pricing questions
- How do I get Builder or Scale?
- Join the waitlist on the Builder or Scale card. Paid checkout opens when billing goes live; waitlist members get first access and locked-in launch pricing. Nothing is live today: the Free tier opens at launch with the same planned API surface.
- What counts as an API call?
- Nothing is billable today because the API is not live. At launch, a single billable call will be one /discover, /book, or /webhook delivery. Health-check probes, OPTIONS preflights, and 4xx error responses will be free, and we will not charge for our own retries.
- Is there a free trial of paid tiers?
- There is no trial today because nothing is live and no card is charged. At launch, Builder and Scale are planned to include a 14-day money-back guarantee, and the Free tier will open with the same planned API surface.
- How is GeraNexus different from MCP servers?
- MCP servers expose data and tools. GeraNexus is designed to transact — book a plumber, hire a candidate, deliver food, schedule a doctor — handing off to physical fulfilment and reporting status back in structured JSON. That transaction layer is not built yet; today GeraNexus is a protocol proposal with a waitlist.
- What happens if I exceed my call quota?
- These are planned launch behaviours, not live ones: a soft cap where extra calls return HTTP 429 with a Retry-After header until the next billing cycle, email notices at 80% and 100% of quota, and no hard cut mid-transaction.
- Can I upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime?
- Yes. When billing goes live, tier changes apply immediately with prorated charges, and you can cancel anytime — your API key keeps working for the rest of the billing period, then drops to the Free tier limits.
- What about latency and regions?
- No latency figures exist yet because the API is not live and has no production traffic. The design targets are P95 under 250ms for /discover and under 800ms for /book, with edge points of presence planned in London, Frankfurt, Virginia and Singapore. We will publish measured figures only once there is real traffic to measure.
- Do I need a separate contract for each vertical?
- That is the launch plan: one key, one bill, 36 verticals — clinic, home services, food, jobs, rides, rentals, payments, learning, farms, and more — with new verticals appearing in /discover automatically. None of this is available today; join the waitlist for launch access.
